Messinaservizi Bene Comune is continuing its de-blocking operations throughout the municipality, which in the week of 15 to 19 July will involve the Central Area and the Northern Area of the city. In the Central Area the Deblattizzazione operations will be carried out on 15 July in Camaro San Luigi and Camaro Superiore internal traverses, in Messina 2 and from the intersection of Via Tommaso Cannizzaro to Viale Boccetta;
on 16 July in the Tribunale square and the CGIL square, and in the Piazza del Popolo and Santa Marta squares; on 17 July in the Università square and the Cristo Re square, and from the Viale Europa crossroads to Tommaso Cannizzaro; on 18 July in the high and low Torrente Trapani square, and from Piazza Antonello to Piazza Sant'Agostino, the Montalto slope and crossroads; finally, on 19 July in the San Vincenzo via Boner square, and Via del Santo from the square to the Palmara descent tunnel to Via Catania.

In the NorthDe-blocking operations will be carried out on 15 July in Fornaci alte e bassi, including the neighbouring cross streets; on 16 July in Marotta and Curcuraci; on 17 July in Castanea and from the intersection of Viale Europa to Via Tommaso Cannizzaro; on 18 July in Masse (S. Giorgio, S. Giovanni, S. Lucia and S. Nicola); and on 19 July in Salice and Gesso.

Messinaservizi Bene Comune also warns that updates on the next scheduled interventions throughout the municipality will follow.

At the same time, the second round of pest and mosquito control continues in the southern and northern areas of the city, again from 10 p.m. onwards.

In the Southern Area, on 15 July, work will be carried out on Altolia, Molino, Giampilieri Superiore, Giampilieri Marina, S. Paolo Briga, Briga Superiore, Pezzolo, Ponte Schiavo, Runci, S. Margherita, S.S. 114 (from Via Bonino to Giampilieri), Stella Maris, Minissale, Villaggio Cep, S. Lucia S.C., Piano di Zona, Case Arcobaleno, Via Contesse, Villaggio Unrra, Via Marco Polo, Pistunina and Tremestieri.
On 16 July in Mili Marina, Mili S. Marco, Mili S. Pietro, Galati Marina, Galati S. Anna, Galati S. Lucia, S. Stefano Briga, S. Stefano Medio, S. Margherita Superiore, Zir, Rione Taormina, Via del Zardo, Via Silicato, Via Bondignore and Via Oreto.
Finally, on 17 July, operations will take place in Larderia Inferiore, Larderia Superiore, Tipoldo, Zafferia, S. Filippo Inferiore, S. Filippo Superiore, Piano Stella, S. Giovannello, Contrada Convito, Cumia Inferiore, Cumia Superiore, Sivirga, Viale Gazzi, Quartiere Gazzi, Mangialupi, Fondo Fucile, Villaggio Aldisio, Villaggio Santo, Viale Bertuccio, Bordonaro, Case Gialle, Bordonaro Superiore and Case Gescal.

In the Northern AreaOn 15 July, work will be carried out on Torrente Trapani (from the Viale R. Margherita crossroads to the Madonna di Trapani shrine), Viale R. Margherita (from the Torrente Trapani to the Via Palermo crossroads), Via Palermo (from the Viale R. Elena crossroads to the Centro Neurolesi), Viale Giostra, S. Michele, Riti, Quadrato Manzoni, S. Chiara, Villa Lina, S. Jachiddu, Tre Monti, Villaggio Svizzero, Viale R. Elena and the Centro Neurolesi. Elena to the Centro Neurolesi), Viale Giostra, S. Michele, Ritiro, Quadrato Manzoni, S. On 17 July, pest control operations will be carried out on Statale 113, Castanea, Salice, Masse, Gesso, San Saba, Acqualadroni, Rodia, Orto Liuzzo and Sparta.
Citizens are reminded to avoid outdoor exposure of food and clothing, to shelter pets and domestic animals, to close windows and balconies, and to thoroughly wash fruit and vegetables grown in town centre gardens and vegetable patches. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the schedule may be subject to change.
