Messinaservizi Bene Comune informs citizens that, on the occasion of the Easter holidays and the subsequent anniversaries of 25 April and 1 May, door-to-door waste collection services will be guaranteed regularly in all areas of the city, with no changes in the collection schedules.

Instead, the ecological islands will remain closed to the public on public holidays: Monday 21 April (Easter Monday), Friday 25 April (Liberation Day) and Thursday 1 May (Workers' Day). Activities will resume regularly from the following day.

On the occasion of these days, which often see an increase in the number of waste deliveries, Messinaservizi Bene Comune invites people to continue with attention and civic sense in the correct management of waste. Differentiating correctly, even during the holidays, means making a concrete contribution to the protection of urban decorum and the environment.

It is recalled that waste abandonment, besides being a detriment to the city and the community, is constantly monitored thanks to the photo-trap system active in the area, which allows irregular behaviour to be detected and sanctioned.

Particular attention is paid to the green areas of the San Rizzo hills and the beaches of our coastline, which are often chosen during the holidays to spend time outdoors. We therefore ask you to respect these places, the city's natural heritage, by keeping them clean and free of litter.
